Compelling!
Beautifully done. well directed and acted. Loved the interspersed scenes from space reminding me that God really had this all planned from the beginning and is in complete control. Held back one star for some scriptural inaccuaracies and liberties taken, but overall a very satisfying portrayal of events. Makes the story human and approachable, and oh, so real.

What an excellent story. I was very touched. I even cried! (and I'm a guy). It is really really good. I just wish I could get it on a region 1 DVD (what idiot came up with DVD region codes)
Blew me away!
With an amazing cast, good research, and the always compelling story of the birth of Christ, this mini series blew me away with the intensity of emotion I felt while watching it. I couldn't stop watching once I'd started. A definite must see any time of year. It gave me a whole new perspective on the nativity story.
